Stumpenhof in Plochingen

Especially now in the Corona time there is always a ray of light: food from the Stumpenhof, simply picked up at the weekend. Delicious and completely ok in terms of price. Hold on, we're looking forward to the next visit to the restaurant!

First time at this restaurant. The restaurant consists of a dark, old part and a new, renovated part with a great view. One tries to have an elitist special character, which is reflected in the prices in addition to the Dry Age cabinet. My reviews are never really about prices, but this time it was the topic at our table. Basically no food for less than 30 euros and what I consider to be a very small side salad for 8.50 euros. The food (game) was also great. Unfortunately, the overall package has to be right for me. I sat in the dark, old part of the restaurant and basically only had the public in front of the table and a hectic pace that didn't really allow for relaxed enjoyment. The hustle and bustle of the many service staff was certainly necessary, but did not help to calm down. It doesn't help that every conversation ended with "thank you, sir". :)

We had lunch today for school enrollment. The table was lovingly set, the staff very courteous and all friendly with a smile. We all (10 people) loved the delicious food and will definitely be back. Thanks to the whole team

Very nice location, fantastic food, great wines, great staff - that's exactly how top gastronomy works. Above all: you are also welcome as a family with children! You get top advice from the boss, we laugh and joke. Even with English-speaking guests, everything is no problem.

The food is delicious and the view from the terrace fantastic. Only missing a few minor things in the service / attention or the last urge to perfection, to be able to award 5 stars. Let's call it 4.4 stars.
